Getting started!!!!

Getting started with CrossFit Nemesis is easy:

1. Review our website, especially the information on What is CrossFit?

2. Call (928-428-0044 or 928-651-6264), email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or go to the Contact us page to arrange a free orientation session which will include information on program foundation, workout variation, and nutrition.

3. Participate in a one on one workout with one of our certified trainers as part of your orientation.

4. Sign up and start enjoying the benefits of eating healthy and exercising smart.

 

On Ramp

The On Ramp course is for our beginner's and is designed to prepare active, healthy individuals who are new to the CrossFit movements for our regular programming.  On Ramp consists of 12 one-hour sessions. Attendance at each session is essential in obtaining the skills necessary to do well in the regular programming in the gym.  Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our programming.

Elements

Elements training is required to begin CrossFit at CrossFit Nemesis.  Elements training are one-on-one training session with one of our coaches designed to introduce the fundemental movements we use in CrossFit.  Our coaching staff will evaluate you during your Intro Consultation and at that time will be able to provide a fair assessment and road map which will lay out your element sessions.  These sessions ensure that you learn the foundational movements used in CrossFit, and can execute them safely.  Safety is our top priority!  Element training may be done privately or in small groups.

Open Gym

We are fully aware that there are capable and experienced athletes looking to train at a facility with racks, Olympic lifting platforms, bands, sleds, tires, hammers, med balls, ropes, rings etc. outside of a group or class setting.  Open Gym time is a self paced and self run program.  Make up a missed WOD, take on a .com WOD, work on your Olympic lifts, focus on strength, the gym and equipment is open for your use.  There is NO coaching during Open Gym, a coach is only present for generalized supervision, the athlete is responsible for their own warm-up, workout, cool-down as well as putting all equipment away.  Open Gym is open to all members of CrossFit Nemesis and to those who wish to train at our facility upon passing a screening, for their own safety.

 

Private Coaching

This time is dedicated and tailored to each individuals specifics needs.  This time is spent working with your coach to achieve your specific needs.  Whether it be building your general fitness base and gain familiarity with our movements or training to achieve a sport specific goal.  Individuals who typically find great success with private coaching are those whose needs or goals consist of:

•  weight loss and improved body composition

•  extra accountability

•  you have generally been sedentary

•  you are new to exercise

•  you are referred to us by a medical professional

•  you have specific performance oriented goals ie. sport specific

•  you have significant health or orthopedic issues

Your coach will tailor workouts specifically to your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace.

 

Additional Thoughts...

All workouts will be scaled and modified to fit YOUR level of fitness regardless of age or ability.

If you are pregnant or post-partum you are still able to CrossFit, we will properly scale to YOUR needs.

ANYONE may participate and succeed with this program and you do NOT have to be in shape to begin!

You do NOT have to be able to do a pull-up, a handstand push-up or be able to climb a rope. We have modifications for all exercises!
